13 Weeks? Are you sure?

Another doctor’s appointment, another reminder that we are actually going to be parents soon and this isn’t an elaborate ruse. This appointment was much less exciting than the last one, even for me. Lay down, how do you feel, a persistent rhythm from the microphone beaming out healthily from a miniature speaker. Amazing and impossible to fully share.

We’ll have another appointment in 4 weeks, most likely with a similar outcome, and then finally 4 weeks after that we’ll get to find out the sex… time crawls. At least time doesn’t share other facets of post-natal life yet, like poopy diapers. No, it just crawls.
